Her Morning Elegance is a music video by Oren Lavie, the song itself is about a love story and how beautiful the woman looks in the morning so for the idea they had to make a music video they decided to use stop motion animation and to make a story out of it from the women being in bed. The purpose of the stop motion animation is to show a story in a different way and by using this they can tell a story just as well with using a simple location and less resourses to use. As well why this is a good stop motion animation to use is because it makes it memorable to the audience and can easily notice the song when it comes on the radio or TV from the video that its showing. The video is aimed at a range of people who likes the song and the music that the artsist presents, it shows a different way of shooting a music video as it can tell the story in a different way to shooting a performance based music video and the video is promoting the song choice and what it is about. This is connecting to a narrative based music video as its telling the story of the lyrics. The stop motion animation is used cleaverly and looks good and effective, the only resourses that the producer has used is the static camera that is positioned above the bed in the same place and the only thing that is moved are the objects on the bed and the woman an man that appear, the way they are moved is like they are walking and different objects are added to make it effective and look different. Everything in the shot is used in stop motion animation and nothing is used on the computer using CGI which makes the video more effective in the way it is used. This is further into the stage of stop motion animation, as you have seen the past videos are from a long time ago and then they was the earliest form of stop motion animation and gradually it becomes better and more professional in different ways its used. It is a simple way to use stop motion animation because all they are basically doing is moving the objects on the bed to create a story.

All the resourse that were used to film this music video was a static camera, a room with a bed, two people and different types of clothing that is being moved around shot by shot to create the story of the song. There are many strenghths that this music video stop animation brings, its a good thing that the producers have only used one camera to film this process and kept it in the same position to film the whole set. Its also has a nice story to the music video and its shown well by making the woman look pretty in the morning and to show a story of her day. The stop motion animation is jerky but it can be a good thing because it adds to the effect of the video to make it have the extra effect by showing a story like this. In such a small amount of time and that fact that its only shot in one position on the bed it would take more time and effort to move every single thing and the woman moving in different strange positons it brings strength to the video and shows other ways to used stop motion animation successfully and gives people ideas to create it in many ways.
